Martina Maier is a partner in the international law firm of McDermott Will & Emery, based in its Brussels office. Martina is head of the firm’s European Antitrust and Competition Practice Group and her practice focuses on German and European competition law, including State aid, single firm conduct, merger control and agreements restricting competition. She has extensive experience in representing clients in a broad range of industries before the European Commission and national competition authorities and courts. Martina is recognised and recommended as a leader in her field by, among others, Chambers Europe, the JUVE Handbook of German Commercial Law Firms, the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers and European Legal Experts. She is also featured in Global Competition Review’s Leading Women in Antitrust and Euromoney’s Guide to the World’s Leading Women in Business Law.
