Shan Hu is an associate based in the Brussels office. Ms. Hu’s practice focuses on antitrust and competition law. She has experience in international trade law matters and U.S. regulatory enforcement matters. Ms. Hu joined the Brussels office in 2007. From October 2009 to March 2010, she was resident in the Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hu did an internship in the EU Commission’s Legal Service, and worked in several international law firms in Brussels and Shanghai from 2005 to 2007. Ms. Hu has published articles on China’s and EU’s competition law and worked with the ABA to provide comments regarding draft rules under China’s Anti-Monopoly Law. Ms. Hu received an LL.B. degree from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2004, an LL.M. degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2005, an LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School in 2009 and a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King’s College London in 2011.
